About Us
The EC
Group was founded in 1996 with the goal to provide high
quality, cost effective environmental consulting services to
the regulated community. The EC Group services our clients
from three regional offices located in Hammonton, New Jersey,
Frankfort, Kentucky and Garden Grove, California. We have
focused on employing individuals with applicable higher
education and advanced degrees along with regulatory
certifications including geologists, hydrogeologists and
Licensed Site Remediation Professionals. Below is a partial
listing of the key employees and brief overview of their skill
sets.

Sam
Klickovich |

Mr. Klickovich provides daily
operational, financial and management input to The
EC Group. Mr. Klickovich is responsible for the
management, oversight, and quality assurance/quality
control on all environmental assessment projects for
the companies.
Mr. Klickovich has a Bachelor
of Science degree in Environmental Science from
Stockton College and a Masters of Environmental
Science degree from Drexel University. Mr. Klickovich has over 22 years experience and has been
responsible for the management of environmental
assessments, remedial investigations, and remedial
action projects with budgets up to $3 million. Mr.
Klickovich performs Preliminary Assessments
(PA), Site Investigations (SI), Remedial
Investigations (RI) and Remedial Action Workplan
(RAW) and is the key outside consultant for a New
Jersey Utility Company and a National Retail
Pharmacy Chain. He also performs Industrial Site
Recovery Act (ISRA) project management Environmental
Assessments for major financial institutions.
Mr. Klickovich is a Licensed Site
Remediation Professional (LSRP) in accordance with
N.J.S.A. 58:10C-1 et seq. under the Site Remediation
Reform Act (SRRA) enacted in November of 2009.
Mr. Klickovich was a Senior
Project Manager for a Regional Consulting Firm prior
to formation of The EC Group.

Edward
Keebler |

Mr.
Keebler is one of the founders of The EC Group and
is responsible for the management of the firm,
including financial, sales and marketing, and
operations.
Mr.
Keebler has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental
Studies from Chadwick University, Advanced
Associates of Science in Accounting from Camden
County College, and Continuing Education credentials
in “Applied Hydrogeology in Environmental
Management” and “Remedial Technologies for
Contaminated Soil and Fractured Rock” from the
Center for Professional Advancement.
Mr.
Keebler has 18 years experience in the environmental
business and has managed environmental projects with
budgets in excess of $5 million. He was formerly the
Vice President/General Manager of a Regional
Consulting Firm prior to formation of The EC Group.
Mr. Keebler has provided consulting services and
developed compliance programs for major corporate
clients. |

Ross Denton |

Mr. Denton is responsible for the
management oversight and quality assurance/quality
control of all projects and all operations for the
California office of The EC Group.
Mr. Denton has a Bachelor of
Science degree in Geology from Stanford University.
Mr. Denton is a California Professional Geologist
and Certified Hydrogeologist and has over 25 years
experience with major corporations with
responsibility for compliance, site assessment and
remediation and program management.
Prior to joining The EC Group,
Mr. Denton was a Senior Hydrogeologist for a
National Consulting Company. Mr. Denton also
maintained a private practice for 5 years. His
experience in the environmental and geological field
includes 20 years with Unocal Corporation.

Phillip
Gordon |

Mr.
Gordon is responsible for the management oversight
and quality assurance/quality control of all
projects and all operations for the Kentucky office
of The EC Group.
Mr.
Gordon has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of
Science from the University of Kentucky. Mr. Gordon
is a certified visual emissions observer, an Air & Waste Management Association
Member, and a National Honor Society of Agriculture
Member.
Mr. Gordon has over 25 years of experience in the
environmental field with both regulatory agencies
and private consulting firms. He worked in the
Kentucky Department for Surface Mining Reclamation
and Enforcement and drafted regulations pertaining
to surface mining in Kentucky. He served with the
Kentucky Division of Disaster and Emergency Services
and as a Senior Environmental Engineering
Technologist with the Kentucky Division for Air
Quality. Mr. Gordon drafted state regulations
related to air quality issues and assisted in the
development of State Implementation Plan (SIP)
strategies. Mr. Gordon has directed the operations
of a multi-location environmental consulting firm
providing environmental site assessments, soil and
water sampling, environmental permitting, and
assistance with regulatory compliance issues, and
has served as the practice manager for air quality
in the branch offices of two additional consulting
firms. Before entering the environmental field, Mr.
Gordon spent ten years as an officer in the U.S.
Marine Corps. |

John Kerelo |

Mr.
Kerelo has been a Senior Project Manager with The EC Group
since 2003.
Mr.
Kerelo has educational experience in Civil
Engineering, Engineering and Math from Delaware
County Community College and Physical Science from
Rowan University.
Mr.
Kerelo has over 25 years experience in the environmental
field managing environmental compliance and waste
management programs. Immediately prior to joining
The EC Group, Mr. Kerelo was the Director -
Environmental Compliance for The Pep Boys - Manny,
Moe & Jack, a nationwide automobile accessories
retailer and automobile repair services company with
over 600 facilities. Mr. Kerelo provided project
management and environmental compliance services to
clients, specializing in the automotive aftermarket
service providers. |

Joseph Nicosia |

Mr.
Nicosia has been a key project manager to The EC
Group since 2006. Mr. Nicosia is responsible for
management and oversight on a vast majority of
diverse projects.
Mr.
Nicosia received his Bachelor Degree in
Environmental Science from Stockton College and has
continuing education in Environmental Assessments
and Environmental Regulations from Drexel
University. Mr. Nicosia’s education and experience
are dedicated to his career as an environmental
scientist and project manager. His past study and
experience encompasses environmental issues,
ecological principals, spatial statistics and
watershed hydrology. The concentration of Mr.
Nicosia’s education has been in the technological
aspects of the environmental field which includes
GIS mapping and GPS applications, Statistical
Analysis Software (SAS), S-Plus and other analytical
software. |
